Where an organisation is considering the development and implementation of an ISO 9001 Quality Management System, there is benefit in all personnel undergoing this training in order to familiarise themselves with the requirements of the Standard.

ISO 9000 business management systems require specific competencies for personnel within a business, whether simply a general awareness of the requirements of the system for all personnel or specific skills for the Quality Manager or Internal Auditors. Many companies can provide this training but it is often aimed at larger companies, who can justify the substantial cost for the formally certificated courses. If you are a small business, such courses will not be suitable.
